interesting little-knowns about the show about nothing
for the deep Sein-fan! no plot summaries here..not many photos. this is a list of each episode, in order of telecast date and containing previously unknown tidbits about the particular episode.

it's very well written but for newer fans, more "casual" fans it's a want...not a need.

I still am searching for something on the progression/evolution of the series, as it suddenly turned from funny sitcom to a brilliant show "about nothing"! when instantaneously we had the arrival of the great characters, Peterman, Susan, the Costanzas, to make each episode an epic.

Calling All Seinfeld Fans
This book is not for someone who has watched a few episodes, but to a true fan, who's watched the shows over and over again. If you are one of those fans, you'll get a kick out a lot of the nuances you may have missed. Enjoy!!

Interesting but no real revelations
An interesting read. Great for Seinfeld nuts like myself. No real revelations or what I would call "insider scoop". Most of what is in the book, I suspect, is fairly common knowledge to fans.

A must have for the Seinfeld lovers!
Purchased this as a gift for my husband who has seen every episode multiple times (but who's counting at this point in time!) and he absolutely loved it! He said it is very interesting to find out what was going on behind the scenes and even found out interesting facts about the cast members. Definitely worth purchasing for the Seinfeld fans in your life!

Disappointed.
I'm a BIG Seinfeld fan,so I was excited to read something interesting.BUT,this isn't it.It just tells you about Joe Blow was supposed to play a certain role, but Bill Jones wound up getting the part.By the way Bill Jones is the writer's second cousin.NO information I needed, nor will remember.

It's only summaries
The bulk of this book is summaries of each episode. There were a few behind the scenes tidbits, but I was hoping for more about the actors. It's still a good read if you're a Seinfeld fan.

Interesting
If you are a Seinfeld fan, you will be entertained. The book is filled with information about what was going on behind behind the scenes as well as what was in the writers' minds explaining some of the references the characters in the show were making. Good read.

My favorite show
I found allot of information about the show that I did not know. I wish there had been a little more about certain shows, but other than that I found the book as advertised.

If you own the series on DVD then most of what is in the book can also be found in the inside looks in the extras section of each disk. There are still some little details about certain episodes that I had never known before. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a big Seinfeld/ Larry David fan.

Lost a star as a result of typos. Contents are wonderful, just needed more proof reading for my taste. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Easy to access a specific show if needed! Plenty of info on each show, characters, etc.
Like millions of folks, I love Seinfeld. This book gives you the insight into the shows. I like how it is set up. I can be on any show and find the ins and outs of the characters, guests, summary, etc.

This is a keeper in my Kindle Table!

Not what I thought
book was ok ,but short. not allot of things we did not already know and where I did not know things it was so short in telling I never fully got engaged in book. But maybe I misunderstood the idea behind this book. I just thought I was going to get better detail and set up. Very short and to the point and leaves you hanging a tad.

Gift!
I bought this as a gift for a huge Seinfeld fan and I don't think it will disappoint. I'm not a big fan of the show, but I glanced through the book and it does have some interesting tidbits about behind the scenes and several episodes. It is what it is, nothing extravagant, but seems entertaining for a Seinfeld lover!

A few shows in a different order than the DVD set (which I'd also just purchased), but this book is an interesting read to go along with the DVD set. I just wish there had been more info in the book than a short paragraph for each episode. The info available was quite interesting, but a lot of it had been gone over on inside looks on the DVD's or on YouTube if you look for them. Otherwise an interesting read.

A few inside "secrets" followed by a description of episodes
The first thing I noticed about this book is the author seems to have no affection for the show, everything is a dry, clinical description. Talk about taking something fun and making it a bore, this book succeeded. Plus, most of it ends up being a dry episode by episode summary. Not worth whatever the price is.

Almost nothing in here that can't be learned watching the Seinfeld DVD's extras included on each disc ... the book is riddled with inaccuracies and
incorrect information. The author is supposedly an "expert". Save your money ! ...buy the DVD set.

I'd really only recommend this book if you have a long flight or something coming up and are desperate for just an easy read. I'm not sure why it's called "Seinfeld Secrets," as it's really just like the author sat down over a weekend and watched all the "Inside Looks" from the "Seinfeld" DVD and made a summary, with an occasional detail added from checking Wikipedia. Even the episodes are just listed chronologically without any attempt to break them up by season and, say, give some introductory essay about each season. I guess that would have required too much original thinking. As a "Seinfeld" geek I did enjoy it, but I paid $3.99 for it and it's worth about $3.49 less than that. Even if the author isn't going to add much original thought to the project, at least it could have been more professionally proofread. These are just two nuggets I came across today: 1) The past tense of "know" is spelled "new." 2) Apparently, Robert Plant (not Palmer) was the lead singer of Power Station...
